This package includes a pre-interview meeting with the interviewee(s) at their home to discuss the process and to review possible interview questions. Fond Reflections Video will have an extensive list of questions to start this discussion. On the day of the actual interview, we will come to your home or another agreed upon location, set up lights and audio, record, using a high definition camera, and then conduct the interview. Post production includes professional editing of the video with photos of people or events from your family albums or other historical sources. Family videos or films can also be added to support the stories that are being told at that point of the interview. These help create a more dynamic dimension to the final video productions. To ensure details of these important family stories are fully captured, these interviews can average between 2 to 3 hours in length.

Interviewing Couples

Since each of us has our own unique lives, each spouse will be interviewed individually up to the point when they met.  The two of them will be included in the the video together, going forward, as they talk about their lives as a family.  

Remember: "a library is lost when an old person dies."
